Morning Worship
Sunday 8:30 a.m. and at 11:00 a.m.
God is spirit; and those who worship Him must
worship in spirit and truth. -
John 4:24.
Our worship of God is our highest and most
important calling in life! There is a sense in which all of life should
be worship. All that we do, say, or think should be done in such a
manner as to bring glory to our great God. Our focus when we are called
together on the Lord's Day to worship as a body of believers is the most
important time for us to bring God glory as He has prescribed. Corporate
worship of the Lord's people is an essential part of your Christian
life!
Our focus in worship is vertical, not horizontal!
Worship is not primarily "fellowship," but is rather focused on our God!
He is so full of awe and glory that we want to give Him our complete and
undivided attention. We focus on Him and Him alone in our worship! Come
join us each Lord's Day for worship of the living God.
A more detailed explanation of worship at Trinity
Presbyterian Church, and the theology directing our worship, is provided
in a brief essay entitled "Worship
at Trinity Presbyterian Church" authored by Pastor Barnes.
At this time
Pastor Barnes is preaching a series of expository sermons through the
book of
II Timothy during the morning services, and Pastor Rowe is
preaching from the book of
Luke during the evening services.
For those interested in learning of the structure
our morning worship services take, please review this sample bulletin:
