Operation Christmas Child

TPC collects donated items for Operation Christmas Child on a monthly basis throughout the year. There is a large wicker hamper in the foyer of the gym for this purpose. All donations are used in November to pack shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child.

Angel Tree

Angel Tree has been a Christmas time outreach to local children of incarcerated parents via Prison Fellowship.  TPC involvement is under review by the deacons.  We will add info on this (or a substitute ministry) to the website at a future date.

International Seaman’s House

The International Seaman’s house is both evangelism to the world and mercy ministry.  The diaconal fund helps support the widow of the PCA pastor who used to run this ministry; she does most of the work herself now.  She meets international sailors at the port and transports them to places to meet some of their basic needs like haircuts, toiletries, and clothing.  Evelyn  has opportunities to share the gospel with some of the sailors and sometimes is able to give them a copy of the Bible in their native tongue.
